I do this a lot, but because I tend to get so many suggestions (they come too fast to do all of them, some of which are physically impossible) I like to pick a key word at the start of my show.
I don't tell the audience the key word, but whenever someone says it I'll do what they've asked.  It really builds up the anticipation because you're both waiting and dreading for someone to say it.  Sometimes the audience will even pick up on what's happening, which makes things even more interesting.
